Occupational Performance Center
Often, we identify ourselves by the work that we do. Following a new diagnosis, disability, or brain injury, people aren’t always ready or able to return to work or school in the same manner. If and when that happens, our unique team is here to help.
Parenting with Disabilities
Raising kids can bring many challenges as well as present numerous learning opportunities throughout each age and stage of the child’s life. Our unique program explores resources for parents with disabilities in order to offer one-on-one assistive strategies.
Pediatric Feeding Services
Feeding is a daily activity of childhood that allows children to grow, develop, play, and learn. Children take part in meals and snacks multiple times a day and in a variety of settings like home, daycare, and school. Feeding goes beyond eating and swallowing. It also includes the process of participating in meal times and getting food and drink to the mouth.
Pediatric Vision Impairment
Sight is one of our most important senses and any deficit in vision can affect a child’s ability to learn and engage in daily activities. Visual disorders in children can include both deficits in their visual acuity and in their visual field.

WashU OT helps individuals who have experienced stroke to achieve satisfaction with life, health, personal well-being and participation in life.
Train Your Brain Program
Designed with fun in mind, this camp will support your child in using the critical skills needed for successfully planning a project and carrying out the plan. Using evidence-based and fun activities, your child will design and build a variety of paper airplanes and test distance flown, time aloft, and accuracy.
Weight-Loss Habit Development & Coaching Services
There is strong evidence that supports intensive lifestyle interventions for clinically significant weight loss, and lifestyle interventions have shown to be more effective at managing weight loss even 1 year later than the standard care. Occupational therapists provide interventions such as behavior modification, exploring and engaging in physical activity, and modifying daily activities and occupations.
Wheelchair, Seating, Mobility & Assistive Technology
There are many ways to configure a wheelchair and numerous factors that must be taken into consideration. Our seating and mobility experts are uniquely trained to assess a client’s mobility needs, and ready to help make recommendations tailored to you.
